The Winston County Genealogical Society was organized on January 19, 1998 for the purpose of helping to preserve the history of Winston County and to allow people to share information about their family lineage with ties to Winston County.
The Winston County Genealogical Society meets the third Tuesday night of each month at 6:30 P.M. at the Winston County Archives in Double Springs, Alabama. To
join the society, your membership dues are $20.00 per year (and $5.00 per each individual household member if they choose to be a member).
